Once made, you may wish to add sliced peppers, radishes, cherry tomatoes or cucumbers to your Just Wholefoods Organic Houmous.

Serving suggestion: Easy Falafel Wrap

For the filling:

  • 1 packet Just Wholefoods Organic Houmous Mix.
  • 1 tomato, chopped into cubes.
  • Small handful of torn Peppermint & Coriander leaves.
  • A handful of salad leaves.
  • ¼ red onion, cut into thin slices.
  • Red cabbage pickle.


Empty the falafel sachet into a bowl and add 125ml of boiling water, 1 tbsp sunflower oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Stir well and leave to rest uncovered for 10 minutes. Shape into 12 round balls and fry them in a little sunflower oil for 4-5 minutes until golden. Make a tahini dressing by mixing the tahini, 1 tsp lemon juice and a splash of water. Assemble the wraps by topping each with the filling ingredients and three falafels. Lastly, drizzle with the tahini dressing.
