Coriander (also known as Chinese parsley) is a spice sourced from the dry fruit of the Coriandrum sativum plant. As a member of the carrot and parsley family, coriander's dried Seeds and fresh leaves are most commonly used in cooking and herbal medicine.
What does coriander taste like?
It is said that corinader has a refreshing, citrus-like flavour, similar to that of a Lemon or lime. With this in mind, it is often used in Spanish and Mexican cuisine in chillis, marinades and curries. and works well with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and potatoes.
