Many of these formulas (below) also contain the extra Vitamins that your little one needs, such as DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid). This essential omega-3 fatty acid is often found in types of fatty Fish, and is crucial for brain development and Eye Health.

Is cow's milk formula bad for babies?

No, not necessarily. Most formula milk is usually made from cow's milk but is slightly altered to make it better for babies and offer the right balance of nutrients. With that said there are those who suggest that overfeeding a baby with cow's milk formula may lead to them likely becoming overweight for life.

Unlike adults, babies are unable to digest Cow’s Milk, as it contains high concentrations of protein and Minerals, which may cause stress upon a new-born’s immature kidneys. Cow’s Milk also does not contain the healthiest types of fat for growing babies too, and in addition, lacks the proper amounts of Vitamin C, Iron, and Other Nutrients that an infant requires.

Is cow's milk good for humans?

There's no doubting that cow's milk offers an excellent source of Calcium, which is important for the development of teeth and bones. It is also a rich source of Vitamin D, and is a complete Protein source as well, with eight grams of protein and twelve grams of carbohydrates per cup. So as long as you and your baby aren't on a Dairy Free diet or have a lactose intolerance, you should be fine.
