Who can use Probioguard?

Lamberts Probioguard is particularly suitable for those who are considering travelling abroad, those who have used a course of antibiotics and people with regular bloating problems or on-going digestive disturbances.

Probioguard Capsules are stored in refrigerated conditions until despatch to ensure maximum potency. The special pot also contains an inbuilt desiccant, as viability of probiotics is largely determined by the moisture content of the atmosphere surrounding the capsules.

What does indigestion feel like?

Indigestion, also called dyspepsia, can involve a range of unpleasant symptoms that occur after eating, from bloating, stomach rumbling and additional cramps to wind, nausea and vomiting. For many sufferers it is Heartburn that causes most distress.

To digest Food, the stomach (which has a protective mucous lining) produces more than a litre of hydrochloric acid a day. If acid moves up the delicate tissue of the oesophagus, the tube running from the throat to the stomach (which lacks a protective coating), it produces a burning sensation called heartburn, or gastroesphageal reflux. If the oesophagus becomes inflamed it can cause a severe chest pain indistinguishable from angina.

Indigestion can be caused by insufficient stomach acid. If an individual experiences no symptoms of heartburn but suffers from regular stomach aches, bloating, belching and wind after meals, they may find they have this problem.
