What is Zinc Oxide?

Zinc Oxide is a mineral that sits on top of the skin, scattering, reflecting, and absorbing UVA & UVB rays. Although it is the safest and most effective active sunscreen ingredient, the best protection from the sun is to seek shade and cover up with clothes and a hat. 

Badger Baby Chamomile & Calendula Sun Cream contains uncoated non-nano zinc oxide, the same kind of zinc oxide used in calamine lotions & nappy rash creams.

Directions of Use

Knead tube before each use. For full protection, apply Badger Baby Chamomile & Calendula Sun SPF 30 Cream liberally (2mg/cm2 of skin) to all exposed skin 15 minutes before sun exposure, then rub in to reduce whitening effect. Children under 6 months of age: seek medical consultation.

Re-apply baby sunscreen:

After forty minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying. At least every two hours.

Caution:

Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin ageing. To decrease these risks, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher, such as Badger Baby Chamomile & Calendula Sun Cream, and practice other sun protection measures including:

• Limit time in the sun, especially from 10am - 2pm.
• Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.
