Directions of Use

Flaxseed oil for internal use

Nutritionists recommend you get Omega 3 Fatty Acids from eating oily fish, but this is not an option for vegetarians and people are concerned with sustainable fishing or just don’t like the taste of seafood! Our organic oil is blended from 333g of flax, including the nutritious kernels, and cold pressed to and maintain its flavour and effectiveness. It can spruce up any salad, and there are some knockout dressing recipes. Here is one of our favourites:

Flaxseed Salad Dressing

Try mixing equal parts (say 3 tablespoons) of apple cider vinegar, white wine vinegar, or lemon juice with organic flaxseed oil, and add a tablespoon of freshly cut herbs like chives and parsley, with a pinch of dried herbs like oregano. Delicious! If you want add a little more vim add finely a finely chopped garlic and half a teaspoon of mustard too.

When blitzing up smoothies, add a tablespoon of flaxseed oil to get unctuous silky finish.

Flaxseed for external use

Flaxseed oil feel greats and soothing on the skin, and can help boost your hair and get rid of dry scalp. It can be blended with aromatic oils for massage. We also recommend applying it just before bedtime to get smoother softer skin or add a teaspoon to a hot bath together with other essential oils.

If you want to give your hair some TLC you can make some flax seed gel to brush through tired or tangled hair- just slowly bring two cups of water and half of flaxseed to boil and ten leave to cool.
