Udos Choice Infants Blend Microbiotics Powder has been specifically designed to be added to water, Formula Milk or other liquid after it has been heated. It contains seven specific bacterial strains which have been specially chosen for their value to infant health and have been formulated to the viable count appropriate for infants.

Why is Bifidobacteria important for my baby?

The bifidobacteria, including B. infantis, B. bifidum and B. breve, should represent the largest population of beneficial bacteria in babies. Bifidobacteria is the predominant bacteria in the digestive tract and is particularly important for a healthy Immune System. Babies pick up bifidobacteria from their mothers during their passage through a clean and healthy birth canal. Studies show that B. infantis was found in approximately 60% of full-term newborns who were born vaginally and only 9% of babies born by caesarean section. These studies have also shown that a lack of Bifidobacteria in children during their developing stages may result to them having Food allergies at a later stage in their life.

Directions of Use

Dissolve half a teaspoon of Udos Choice Infants Blend Microbiotics Powder in infant Formula Milk or other liquid. Alternatively, breastfeeding mothers may wish to coat the nipple before a feed.
