It is found in deposits of the Earth's crust near the Mediterranean Sea, and when extracted from the Earth, appears as a translucent and colourless, crystalline stone.

When applied to the skin, Potassium Alum is invisble and leaves no sticky or oily residues on the armpits. Most importantly, it is fragrance free and provides natural twenty-four hour odour protection.
