What is hot sauce good for?

The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce can be used to make a delicious hot + sour glazed halloumi on in a twisted bloody mary cocktail.

Hot + Sour Glazed Halloumi Ingredients:

  • 225g of Halloumi.
  • Lashings of The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce.

Instructions:

Cut thick to medium thick slices of halloumi. Sear in a hot pan or on a BBQ until golden. Douse liberally with The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce whilst it's cooking (making sure to glaze both sides). Serve up and enjoy!

Twisted Bloody Mary Cocktail Ingredients:

  • Ice 250 ml of rich tangy tomato juice.
  • 25ml of your favourite vodka (optional).
  • A few drops of The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce.
  • Pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Wedge of lemon.
  • Stick of celery.

Instructions:

Add some ice to a tall glass. Pour the rich tangy tomato juice over the ice. Add your vodka of choice (optional). Pour in a few drops of The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Squeeze in a wedge of lemon. Stick the celery in and stir well. Drink and enjoy!

Directions of Use

The Woolfs Kitchen Hot+Sour Sauce is ideal as a dipping sauce for prawns, salt & pepper squid, summer rolls and sweetcorn fritters. Or try drizzled over stir-fried rice and noodles, halloumi or veggie kebabs.

Use within six weeks of opening.
