Directions of Use

Hibiscus is an incredibly versatile ingredient and can be used in many natural hair & beauty rituals, such as a tea rinse, infused in carrier oils, in conditioner, or with Henna to boost red tones.

As a Gentle Shampoo:
Blend Hibiscus powder with water or tea and gently massage into scalp and hair. Leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off.

As a Hair Treatment:
Mix Hibiscus powder with water or tea and apply to damp clean hair. Allow to absorb for 1-2 hours for an ultra-conditioning and added shine treatment.

As a Face Mask:
Combine dry Hibiscus powder with yogurt, coconut milk, or glycerine to make a wet mask. Leave on skin for 5-10 minutes then rinse off. Combine mix with clay for deeper cleansing if desired.

Allergy advice: Avoid contact with the eyes. With natural products, a skin test is recommended prior to use. Apply a small amount of paste behind the ear and wait 24 hours. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use.
