Superfood is a marketing term to describe natural foodstuffs thought to have health benefits which may also help certain medical conditions. They are generally calorie sparse and nutrient dense meaning they pack a lot of punch for their weight so far as goodness goes. They are superior sources of antioxidants and nutrients we cannot make ourselves.

Superfood powders and seeds have become very popular in recent years often to use as a nutrient dense addition to smoothies or sprinkled on cereals or yogurt helping to ensure that people obtain a good balance of essential nutrients and a healthy dietary intake.

Types of Superfoods:
