Natures Healthbox have just taken on a range of products from a company called Aduna. Aduna’s initial product range centres on the fruit of the iconic baobab tree.

Founders Andrew Hunt and Nick Salter have created a brand which they believe will challenge people’s perceptions of products from the continent and help open up the market for African and African-inspired brands both in the UK and worldwide.   

Aduna is an Africa-inspired premium health and beauty brand focused on creating innovative products from African natural ingredients with outstanding potential for wellbeing. The company’s mission is to breathe the vibrancy of Africa into the daily lives of people around the world, whilst creating a virtuous circle that feeds positive impacts back to the source.

Every year, 10% of Aduna's profits go into the Aduna Foundation. The Foundation exists to support samll-scale African producers in marketing their products internationally.

Baobab - ' The Feel Good Fruit '

Aduna Baobab Fruit Pulp Powder is a delicious, nutrient-dense raw wholefood and is 100% natural. Baobab dries naturally on the branch, unlike any other fruit and is simply harvested, the seeds removed and then sieved. 

Baobab is an excellent source of Vitamin C, Calcium, Potassium, thiamin and  Fibre and a good source of Vitamin B6. These nutrients help to support energy metabolism, the immune system and promotes healthy skin. 

The Baobab Tree also known as ' The Tree of LIfe ' or ' Upside down Tree ' is an icon of the African Savannah, a symbol of life and positivity in a landscape where very little else can thrive. The Baobab Tree has a lifespan of up to 5,000 years and is at the heart of many traditional remedies and folklore.
