What is Coconut Nectar?
Coconut Nectar is a 100% whole food that comes from the liquid sap of the coconut tree blossom. Tiana quickly collect this nectar sap every four hours in order to to avoid fermentation (if coconut nectar is kept for several hours it will ferment and not crystallise). During its production process, when the sap is evaporated at low temperatures, a raw, low GI nurtrient rich liquid its formed with a mere 10% fructose content. This Nutrient-rich syrup is then crystallised immediately.
Surely Coconut Nectar just tastes of coconuts, right?
Wrong, believe it or not Coconut Nectar has no Coconut taste but rather that of molasses or a palm tree fruit, mixed with Maple Syrup.
