What is meant by the term 'measured using the MGO rating'?
MGO stands for methylglyoxal; this is the naturally occurring compound that gives Manuka Honey it’s special properties. Simply put, the higher the MGO rating on the front of the jar, the greater the anti-bacterial strength present within the honey.
Does Hilltop Honey NPA 100+ Manuka Honey have an expiry date?
Hilltop Honey NPA 100+ Manuka Honey may crystallise but it it should never really go off – this is due to its high content of natural sugar. Best before dates are printed on all Hilltop Manuka Honey's, so it is recommended to finish them before that suggested date.
