Green Origins Organic Wheatgrass Powder is a wholefood made from the leafy portion of the wheat plant (Triticum aestivum), which is sourced from an organic farm in Canterbury, New Zealand. Wheatgrass Powder contains high traces of almost every nutrient that the body requires, and is a rich source of chlorophyll - a potent detoxification agent.

Green Origins harvest their wheatgrass while the plant is still young (below 30cm tall). Within 1-6 hours of harvest it is transported to an organically certified dehydrating company, where the moisture content is reduced to approximately 4%. This process is accomplished through the use of hot air dryers, and takes between 20 - 25 minutes. Samples are taken hourly for daily quality assurance testing. Once dried, the powder is milled, to particles first of approximately 150 - 200 microns, then 50 microns. It is then packaged up Green Origins Organic Wheatgrass Powder.

Directions of Use

Add 1 teaspoon to food or drink daily. Gradually increase this to 1 tablespoon over a 6-week period, reducing the amount if you experience detoxification symptoms such as headaches.
