Date Syrup is a thick, sweet liquid and the perfect alternative for Sweeteners or refined sugars, which can be used in a number of different ways to sweeten your favourite Food & Drinks. Date Syrup is particualry popular across the whole of the Middle East and by those indiviudals weaning themselves off sugar. It is rich in dietary fibre, Vitamins, Minerals and phenolic compounds (Antioxidant rich plant foods).
Date Syrup is dark brown in colour with a texture that is much thicker than Maple Syrup but thinner than molasses. It tends to usually be sweeter in taste than granulated sugar, however is less sweeter than Agave Syrup. Date Syrup is also revered for having higher antibacterial compounds than Honey.
