Much of Miso's reputed health properties center around a group of biochemicals found in soya called isoflavones. Various scientific studies have indicated that these compounds may be effective in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Studies have shown that the occurrence of certain types of cancer is lower in countries (like Japan) that have a tradition of consuming soya based foods. Fermented soya products contain much higher levels of isoflavones than raw soya beans, which act as a potent anti-cancer agent.

Directions of Use

Pour the contents of one soup packet into a mug or bowl, add 240ml of boiling water and stir.

Allow to sit for a minute before drinking.
