'Hodmedod' is a local dialect word - in Suffolk it means snail and in Norfolk hedgehog.
So what will I find in your selection of Hodmedod's products?
Don't worry, theres no hedgehogs or snails here but rather an extensive selection British-grown Pulses & Grains. Since 2012, Hodmedod's have worked with local farmers to provide you, the consumer, with a wide range of beans and peas, as well as some of the first British-grown Quinoa. As well as their dried beans, peas and quinoa, for cooking, Hodmedod's also roast beans and peas to create very moreish ready-to-eat Snacks.

Yes! Hodmedod's is audited and certified by the Soil Association for the supply of a range of organic pulses & grains.
Why should I choose Hodmedod's foods?
All over the world pulses and grains are enjoyed in a multitude of traditional recipes - including ful medames, houmous, falafel, crisp snacks, Soups, stews, curry and dal. Yet here in the UK in they're used as animal feed (and as a useful break crop that fixes nitrogen).
