The Award Winning, Temple based Tea brand

Teapigs teas and herbal infusions show the best of what Tea can offer. It is therefore no surprise that they offer a range of top-notch quality teas with absolutely no nasties. From the traditional Teapigs Black Tea to the punchy herbal infusion of Teapigs Peppermint there are more than enough healthy, organic and adventurous blends for the true tea connoisseur.

What makes Teapigs tea stand out?

The range features the very best quality teas you’ll find. They only use whole leaf teas, whole berries, whole herbs & flowers, and not the dusty stuff you’ll find in regular tea bags. They were the first British tea company to successfully bring whole leaf tea in a mesh bag format to the UK market. They are B Corp Certified with plant based packaging, and can be found in over 35 countries around the world. Teapigs give back to the communities that bring us their tea too, and make sure that they do their best to take care of the people that source the ingredients for each and everyone of their products.

    How did the brand start?

The brand started in 2006 with a goal of getting the nation to consume real tea. It was founded by two self-professed tea nuts, Louise and Nick who once worked for Tetley Tea. Louise had been a professional tea taster for over fifteen years and had travelled the world sourcing all sorts of teas. After securing a start-up fund from what is now Tata Consumer Products, Nick and Louise nurtured and grew the teapigs brand into what it is today, being true to their values of quality, sustainability and community.

Are Teapigs tea bags plastic free?

Their teas are actually presented in biodegradable tea “temples”. These roomy, biodegradable mesh-bags give the leaves lots of room to infuse.

    Who is Teapigs target audience?

Tea lovers who try not to take themselves too seriously, much like those people who work at Teapigs. With no airs, no graces, and just an appreciation for finely made tea.
