Who are Clipper?
Clipper was founded by two tea fanatics, Mike & Lorraine, back in 1984 in Dorset, England. Determined to change the world of tea forever, Clipper have always maintained an obsessive focus on what’s inside the teabag.
Clipper love Tea, and believe that every cup of tea should be special. Their products are packed in 100% biodegradable, non-chlorine bleached paper and card from managed, sustained forests. In addition, all Clipper teabags are made from unbleached paper, so you can feel free to compost both the boxes and bags for your organic veggie plot!
Why are Clipper teabags so dark?
Clipper teabags are different in colour to the regular brands because they haven't been bleached. This may make Clipper teabags look a little different, as they are more naturally brown in colour, however you can rest assured that unbleached teabag paper has no impact on taste.
Why are some Clipper teabags presented in individual envelopes?
Some Clipper teabags are sold in envelopes to help them stay fresh, to protect them, and to ensure that unmistakable Clipper taste!
Where do Clipper source their ingredients from?
Clipper source their ingredients from a number of different origins across the globe, including India, Sri Lanka, China, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. All the ingredients Clipper source are then brought back to their base in Dorset, England, where they are checked for quality and then packed as the final product.
