Where is the ascophyllum seaweed harvested & how is it prepared?

Organic ascophyllum seaweed is harvested sustainably from remote coastal regions, by only cutting the top fourteen inches and not returning to the same site for four years. The seaweed is gently dried using low temperature geothermally warmed air circulation. The dried seaweed is then milled into a fine powder. The seaweed powder is then sent to a third party UKAS accredited lab, which tests for heavy metals, contaminants, microbes, pesticides and iodine content to ensure maximum purity and consistency. Finally, once the seaweed powder has passed all testing it is encapsulated it into capsule form.
