What is krill oil?

Krill oil is an extract prepared from a tiny, shrimp-like species, known as Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba). It contains the omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which are also found in Fish Oils, with the Fatty Acid phosphatidylcholine.

What is the difference between fish oil and krill oil?

Krill oil comes from krill and has a distinctive red colour, while yellow Fish oil comes from sardines, tuna and herring.

What is krill oil good for?

Antarctic krill oil capsules are often used for the heart, high Blood Pressure, high Cholesterol, PMS (premenstrual syndrome), Depression and osteoarthritis
