Astragalus (Astragalus propinquus) is flowering perennial plant that grows in Mongolia. It has a distinctive, bright yellow root that has to led to the Chinese people nicknaming it "huang qi", which means "yellow leader". It is therefore unsurprising that this 'yellow leading' ingredient features heavily in traditional Asian medicine, where it is thought to provide Immune Support to those who take it.
