Is cashew nut butter healthier than peanut butter?
It has all the benefits of both cashews and tahini. Cashew Nuts are a good source of monounsaturated fats and essential Amino Acids. It has slightly more calories and fat compared to peanut butter, and slightly less protein. The addition of tahini however, has the added benefits of extra protein and Calcium.
Should I refrigerate cashew butter?
While it may prolong the overall quality of the product, storing cashew & seasame butter in the fridge will make it harder to spread. It is therefore recommended to store it in a cool dark and dry place instead.
Can also be used in cooking, baking, dressings, sauces or add to your favourite curry for a creamy buttery taste.
