Rosehips can be eaten raw like berries but also form a part of jams, jellies, sauces and beverages. Rosehips are high in Vitamin C and have strong antioxidant properties. A recent study showed them to be beneficial for treating the symptoms of colds and coughs and having an anti-inflammatory effect and therefore helping with the pain of arthritis. Rosehip Oil is used in hair and beauty products and is thought to help with various skin conditions including the healing of scarring.
