Nori is commonly used in Japanese and Korean cuisine, served in bite-sized portions of rice or in a variety of sushi dishes. It is by far the most popular sea vegetable because of its mild flavour and the way it is presented in an easy-to-use sheet form. Nori is also a rich, vegetarian source of Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), an essential omega-3 fatty acid which is usually found in the fatty layers of cold-water fish. DHA is particularly crucial for a babies brain development, which is why pregnant and nursing women are encouraged to consume rich sources of DHA before childbirth.
Sanchi is owned by Community Foods, who have been buying Japanese foods since 1977. The Sanchi brand was created in 1994 to meet the demand for high quality Japanese foods.
Sanchi is a premium range of Japanese products made in an uncompromising traditional manner from the highest quality ingredients and methods.
