What is the difference between light and dark agave?

The difference between Organic Kitchen Light Agave Syrup and Organic Kitchen Dark Agave Syrup 259ml is simply filtration. While this light Agave Syrup undergoes a finer filtration process, which gives it a distinct amber colour,  the darker variation undergoes a light filtration to retain most of it's natural Minerals.

Does agave need to be refrigerated?

It is not necessary to refrigerate Organic Kitchen Light Agave Syrup .

Can Vegans eat agave?

Yes! Organic Kitchen Light Agave Syrup is made from 100% organic Mexican blue agave, which is a completely plant-based product. It is therefore an excellent option for vegans and vegetarians alike.

Is organic agave better than sugar?

Yes! Blue agave syrup has a low glycaemic index and is 25% sweeter than cane sugar which means you can use less of it in your cold & Hot Beverages or home bakes to reduce calorie intake. It requires minimal water usage too; 35 litres of water per 1kg syrup. In comparison, cane sugar requires 1,500 litres of water per 1kg.
