What is the difference between light and dark agave?

The difference between Organic Kitchen Dark Agave Syrup and Organic Kitchen Light Agave Syrup 259ml is simply filtration. While this dark variation undergoes a light filtration to retain most of it's natural Minerals, the lighter Agave Syrup is made from a finer filtration process that gives it a distinctive amber-like colour & reduces it's overall mineral content.

Does agave need to be refrigerated?

Can Vegans eat agave?

Yes! Organic Kitchen Dark Agave Syrup is made from 100% organic Mexican blue agave, which is a completely plant-based product. It is therefore an excellent option for vegans and vegetarians alike.

Is organic agave better than sugar?

Yes! Blue agave syrup has a low glycaemic index and is 25% sweeter than cane sugar which means you can use less of it in your cold & Hot Beverages or home bakes to reduce calorie intake. It requires minimal water usage too; 35 litres of water per 1kg syrup. In comparison, cane sugar requires 1,500 litres of water per 1kg.
