The cannabigerol (CBG) in this product has been extracted using supercritical CO2 fluid extraction method from organic hemp grown in the European Union. It is then further purified to provide a CBG isolate, which is then mixed with organic, cold-pressed hemp seed oil.

What is CBG?

CBG, or cannabigerol is the parent cannabinoid and the first to be produced in the cannabinoid bio-synthetic pathway. The acidic form of CBG, known as CBGa, is naturally present in hemp flowers and produced early in their development. As hemp flower mature, CBG is enzymatically converted to either CBD or THC depending on genotype. A few unique varieties exist which do not contain the genes for THC or CBD production and instead will produce higher amounts of CBG. As a result, CBG is usually present in very low quantities in industrial hemp and requires large amount of biomass to produce small quantities of CBG.

What does CBG hemp do?

Directions of Use

Shake well before use. Jersey Hemp 1000mg CBG Oil 10ml may be used sublingually (under the tongue) or topically;

• Sublingual Application - Place the desired amount of CBG oil under the tongue for 1 – 2 minutes before swallowing.
• Topical Application - For small areas of skin, apply 2 – 3 drops of CBG oil directly and gently rub into the skin. For larger areas of skin or for use in a full body massage it is advised to dilute the CBG oil 10 times with your preferred carrier oil. For example, a full body massage would use 25 – 50 ml of massage oil.
