Green Origins Organic Cacao Butter is made from the Criollo variety, which is often referred to as the “Queen of Cacao” due to its high quality. It is produced by organic growers in Peru and is harvested by hand as pods. These are broken apart and the pulp is allowed to ferment, where it eventually runs away in liquid form. The cacao beans are then washed, disinfected and dried, where their cores are extracted and broken into nibs. These nibs then are pressed to separate out the raw creamy cocoa butter.

Directions of Use

Cacao butter wafers can be added to smoothies, desserts or used as a cooking ingredient. It can also be used as a natural moisturiser.
