What is CBD?
First discovered and isolated in the 1940's, cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of more than a hundred active compounds found in all three varieties of the cannabis plant, much like THC and other similar substances. However, unlike THC, CBD does not contain psychoactive characteristics, which means you cannot get high from consuming it.
What is CBD Oil?
CBD oil describes products containing only CBD Isolate and a carrier such as Coconut Oil. Advanced extraction methods have been able to remove everything contained in the plant matter and isolate only the CBD compound. Although CBD is great on its own, studies of full spectrum products that contain naturally occurring CBD, terpenes, other cannabinoids, chlorophyll, and more, may provide a more therapeutic effect. Known as the "Entourage Effect".
How much CBD Oil is right for me?
Based on your age, weight, gender, and sex, it’s hard to establish how much CBD oil you should be ingesting, however, like with anything, start out with a small amount as possible as your body can create a tolerance overtime that will undermine the power of the CBD oil.
