Clearspring Organic Shoyu Soya Sauce 500ml is made to a traditional recipe with Organic Whole Soya Beans rather than soy isolates. It also includes roasted whole wheat which is naturally fermented slowly in the cedarwood kegs. This award winning soya sauce is the one of the finest shoyu sauce's available, which is also available in both a larger 1 litre and smaller 150ml variation.

There has been much attention given to the high concentration of brown pigment in shoyu, because of its strong antioxidant and anticancer properties. It is also said to aid in digestion and is rich in minerals.
There are 5 types of shoyu, each with its own attributes. About 80% of the shoyu that is produced is called koikuchi, from the Kanto region. It is the foundation and the essential ingredient of most Japanese cuisine, and is made from soya beans that have undergone a century-old used, fermentation process. This process converts hard-to-digest soy proteins, starches and fats into easily absorbed amino acids, simple sugars and fatty acids; which provide the same powerful medicinal & nutritional properties that miso has.
Simply add a few drops of Clearspring Organic Shoyu Sauce during the end of cooking for a perfect, delicate flavouring.
