Kalamata Olives (also known as a black olives) are the olives which grow on Kalamata trees under the hot Grecian sunshine in southern Greece. They are slightly bitter in taste compare to other types of olives, and can be easily distinguished by their Almond like shape & dark-purple colouring. Kalamata Olives contain high traces of healthy fats and natural Antioxidants, as well as rich sources of Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Iron, Potassium, Phosphorus and Magnesium.
