Over Indulgence

We have been reading with alarm that an unhealthy Festive period can take hours off your life and if repeated on a regular basis this could be quite significant. Despite our best intentions to keep our eating and drinking under control many of us find it difficult to resist so how can we repair the damage?
Over indulgence is defined as a period of unrestrained, immoderate self-indulgence or allowing yourself too much of something you enjoy (often food and/or alcohol) ! These periods of excess can play havoc with our digestive systems causing bloating, upset stomach, nausea and bowel disturbances – sadly pleasure comes at a price!
